One of the most iconic saxophone mouthpieces of all time, the S80 tenor mouthpiece has become the standard of reference that teachers & performers use for a quality, hard rubber mouthpiece. The S80 tenor mouthpiece is available in several facing options, but most known for the “C*” (C Star) facing… so much so that many teachers will simply tell their students to “get a Selmer C star” mouthpiece when they are actually referring to the S80 model with the C* facing.
