The Blue Heron has a very short, low, roll-over baffle and a Concave floor that leads into a large chamber.  The Concave floor eliminates the need for scooped side walls. This design adds superior warmth, resonance  and projection without being spread. This piece is great for small ensembles and solo work. This mouthpiece truly embodies the essence of jazz music.
